The Department of Fashion and Design offers a comprehensive program that covers the fundamental and advanced aspects of fashion design and textile management. Fashion and Design (Apparel Technology) 6 Semesters (Each Grade 6 Months) NITA
GRADE III: Introduction to the Trade, Safety Procedure, Tool, Health, sewing aids, Materials aid Equipments, Drafting Patterns and assent ice basic female garments, Address emerging issues in Apparel manufacture, Drawing Sketches of different design, team work, Use of fabric and tools.
GRADE II: Health and Safety procedures, Career information, Tools Materials, Equipment, making female Dress, Children wear short, shirts linings, pattern drafting and cutting.
GRADE I: Health and Safety procedures, Pattern Drafting, Cutting Acutely, Skirt Blocks, Marking tools, Two piece dress, Sewing tools and aids
